Partnership

NARESA has partnered with various organizations to carry out operational research and program implementation.
  1. Horizons project of Population Council – Operational research on integration of PMCT into health care facilities.
  2. UNICEF Kenya -Pilot PMCT integration
  3. Community based survey of infant feeding practices in catchments of clinics providing PMCT services versus those that were not in Homa Bay and Karatina Districts.
  4. Family health International – Pilot PMCT in Busia District hospital Kenya and Kakamega Provincial General Hospital.
  5. UNICEF – Somalia – train TOT’ s in PMCT and support the initiation of PMCT services.
  6. Recipient of Co-Operative Agreement from CDC to implement PMCT in 13 Districts in Kenya ( Kilifi D Hospital, Kajiado, Loitoktok, Kiambu, Muranga,Maragwa, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Homa Bay, Rachuonyo, Bondo, Kisii, Gucha)(ongoing)
  7. WHO – Data management centre for the Nairobi Kesho Bora study. – (ongoing)
  8. APHIA II – partnering with PATHFINDER International. NARESA is providing technical support for the ARV treatment component for Nairobi and central province. This has been made possible courtesy of  USAID funding
  9. AXIOS free donation program for Determine test kits and NVP – NARESA is one of the largest recipients in East Africa.
  10. ANECCA – partnered to carry out a survey of paediatric HIV care services in Kenya – the findings of this study have been used to improve the national Paediatric HIv program. A manuscript of this study has been submitted for publication.
